When you activate a license, the app sends a machine fingerprint and your license key. Our server records the request’s IP address and derives an approximate city-level location from it.
How long we keep it
Activation and licensing events are retained as an immutable audit record. You may request that the IP address and derived location on your records be anonymized; the remaining audit fields are preserved.
What we never collect
The app does not transmit your prompts, your code, your file paths, or the contents of any Cursor conversation.
